Thoughts of today

China is overrated. In Africa we will have much bigger growth soon - millions of people is going to reach productive age during next 10 years. And it seems that Lions are not less powerful than tigers or dragons.

Tesla is back. Not in the Roadster, though. Both Wired and the Economist are writing about 'no cable plugged home appliances'. Have you already tried to steal some energy from your neighbours big TV?

Translating some stuff about automated painting systems, it is so refreshing - but wait... They do use special encoder, too. In my fathers garage there were only one computer, a special one to perform car diagnostics. Twenty something years later, and even with painting gun you have CD with drivers. What a world...

Today I wrote some article about Nokia going for emerging markets of developing countries - mostly to promote Softonic, but well, I believe they took a good direction. But today, they announced some cuts because of lowered price of their high-end smartphones. Of course Apple fans are blowing their trumpets announcing archvictory. Stop for a moment. Think again, who has only smartphone in his portfolio. And who just announced 15 bucks powered by hand dinamo phone for Kenia?

BTW Iphone HD comes with Telefonica contract in Spain. That is probably even worse than AT&T (well, at least they have coverage in Barcelona). God bless my vodafone sponsored N97mini ;)
